I'm stuck trying to decide between the ZT 200 and the 350. for any of u that have handled both knives can u please give me some feedback on which u feel if the better knife. No knife shops in my area carry them

if any1 has both knives can u please take a pic of both side by side

I have the 0350 & looked at the 0200. These are 2 totally different knives. the 0200 is truley a "TANK" ! the 0350 is smaller in design. If you are looking for a huge pocket filling "Beast" then the 0200 is it but if you want something comfortable in the pocket & still built Very Well (like we would expect from ZT)then go for the 0350. I really like mine ! Perfect size IMO;)

i guess i want something i can acually carry with me and i hear a lot of people saying the 200 is just too big. if i wanted a true tactical knife i would go with the 100. 350 it is i guess. no point in buying a huge knife if im not going to carry it. the 350 is s30v anyway

did your 350 come sharp out of the box? why i asked is when my friend got his he said it wasn't as sharp as the 35$ kershaw barriage he got from walmart. i think this is the second time i herd that said about the knife. a 110$ knife should be sharper then a 35$ dollar knife imo. are u happy overall with the 350?

I like big knives and the 0200 is amazing for the price!

I was disapointed with the 0350.The thin blade and standard kershaw construction make it rather un "ZT" like.

If you like the premise of the 0350 then get the G10 tyrade instead. Compared to the 0350 it has a thicker blade and identical construction at significant savings vs the 0350.

Yes it was sharp but not as sharp as my Spydercos came from the factory.

I also was not extremely impressed by the 0350, and prefure the 0200 over it as well. I have the entire ZT line up....(will one of the 0300, with the half dozen variations that TAD gear came out with I could be broke... missed my chance to own the 0300-DT).

Oh and the 0500 is here

Spoolup, thanks for the pics. BTW, which do you like better overall, the ZT0200 or the Kershaw Tyrade?

I preferred the Tyrade to the 0200. The 0200 handle is more comfortable (due to the sculpting), but I prefer to make my own handles, so that point is moot. The Tyrade just feels "right".

ok well i thought about it and i'm going with the 350 it's a better fit for me and ease of carry. it's still a really good knife like the 200 just a tiny bit smaller.

but u guys talked me into it (my bank account hates u already). i'm also going to get one larger knife also.

so now i'm in between the 300 and the 200 as my larger knife. anymore feedback u guys could give me on that would be helpful

Why not just get the 300 to start with and then if its too big for you it will have an easy resell, and then get the 200 or the 350.

I will take the 0200. Odd I know. The G10 tyrade would be the cats meow if they put the little groves across the back of the blade for your thumb or what not, think the tech term is gripling? Look at every knife up there, minus the bayonet and the boot knife they all have it..... Dont know why the tyrade G10 did not. The original tyrade did.

Phillip, you've whipped up some beautiful handles! Do you take orders? :D

I have 3 ZT0200's, and 3 Kershaw G-10 Tyrades. I have been switching back and forth between these for the past month or so. I then made a committment that I would carry one of these for the remainder of June and July! Just like Firebert, I find that the Tyrade is an excellent knife and one I enjoy carrying, BUT, and this is just like spoolup, ........the ZT0205KW I have is simply THE knife for me.:thumbup: There is nothing I would improve on, well, one thing, and that would be a full deep pocket clip, but that is just me. When I couple this together with my Case Barlow Razor (CV steel), I just feel I have all bases covered for whatever knife need arises!:D

Don't get me wrong though as I would not kick the G10 Tyrade out of the bed, and I really enjoy carrying and using it and don't miss anything when I have it in place of the ZT, but if I could only have one of them it would be the ZT0200 series!:D

I have both of these knives and my ZT0300 just sits in a knife pouch inside my desk drawer. It's a tough knife, but the ZT0200 just feels more solid to me, and a better cutter for what I need a knife for. I know that I'm going with a liner lock over a framelock with this choice, but the ZT0200 has liners that are almost .080" thick and the lockup is as tight and strong as any linerlock I've ever had. You also save about $80.00 over the price of the ZT0300, and with that saving's you could go ahead and get another Tyrade in a different handle color!:D:thumbup::D

the 300 is about 225$ shipped and the 200 is 125$ shipped. so yea 100$ is a lot of money. i just thought that it being a frame lock/w stopper, titaniium handle, stronger blade and having s30v over the 154cm it would be a way better knife. guess it just looks good on paper. everyone i know keeps telling me s30v is a lot better then 154cm but i still a knife noob. why i'm asking so many questions

i know a lot of people like the jyd but there is just something about it that i dont like. i held one b4 and didn't like it much.

philadelphia is alittle weird when it comes to knife carry. the 300 is going to be too big of a knife to carry and i know i will run into crap if i get caught with it. the 350 i know i can get by with.

in pa u can carry a gun but not a big knife :/ philly is weird

I have looked at the 350 and the 200 and between the size, blade length, blade shape/thickness, handle contouring, and which is more "ZT" like I decided to get the ZT 0205KW. I like the 4 inch blade, the blade is actually not as wide (which I like) and the handle isn't squared off G-10 scales. Its 3-D machined contoured scales. I have put 8oz in my pocket for the past couple of days to simulate the weight of the zt200. After a while it disappears in the pocket. Just my opinion :P

0350 and 0200 are at the top.
I prefer the 0200 because it more comfortable in my hand.

Both are great knives, but for about the same price, you get much more knife with the 0200.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1366926353.759262.jpg

This is the second resurrected thread I've commented on today.
I gotta start looking at post dates.

Edit: that is a sweet picture though, huh?
