ZT 350 went in the Ocean

Went to the beach for part of the long weekend. Sunday took my 0350 on the beach with me by accident. Did not realize it was still in my pocket until I got out of the ocean (lucky it was still clipped to my pocket). Then to take my stupidity to another level, I dropped my wet knife in the sand. Sadly I had no time to clean it or do anything to it except a very quick rinse. I put it in my bag, grabbed my Spyderco Salt and forgot about it until tonight. I got it out, took it apart for the first time, washed it really well, oiled it up and put it back together. Surprisingly there was almost no rust after 2 days of sitting. Knife was easy to take apart and reassemble. This knife has not stopped suprising me.

Just wanted to share!:D

O man , thats why i love my Tasman Salt. I bought it just for our yearly Mrytle Beach S.C. trip. I zip it in the pocket on my board shorts. ZT's are sweet knives. At least u didnt lose it. I did that with a pair of Oakleys a couple years back

all you did was drop it on the beach, big deal...

i was on my boat and dropped a zt500 into the deep blue ocean; gone forever...others lost in the ocean while fishing: mora clipper, kershaw filet, kershaw gentlemans folder, buck 110, leatherman skeletool...
 
really tempted to get a 350, they just seem so bulky.
 
It doesn't take up any more space than a Spyderco Military and less space than a 0301 which I carry daily.
When carrying the 0350 I usually check to make sure it's there. ;)

Now is the time to re-think if you should get one. :)
So many cool things coming out lately.

They should be hitting the streets in a day or 2.
Look at your favorite ZT dealers the rest of the week.
I believe around 900pcs total for this LE run.
I know my bro 2BKC and Kershawguy will both have them.
