My ZT 350 arrived yesterday. This is my first ZT, but it definitely won't be my last. I've been a Benchmade guy for several years, but had decided that I wanted to branch out to something a bit different. My normal EDC is a BM 580 Barrage.

After I had ordered the 350, I was reading comments about the knife that had me a little worried. Several people complained that the knife was huge and unruly in the pocket. So I was very please when I took it out of the box to discover that it's roughly the same size as my 580. There really isn't much difference between the two weight wise either.

The ZT 350 feels good in the hand. (I have average size hands) The balance is good. The blade was perfectly centered, and it was razor sharp out of the box. I adjusted the clip for tip up carry, and it sits well in my pocket. If I had to make one complaint, it would be that I wish ZT sent the knife with a clip that allowed for a deeper fit in the pocket. However, I certainly can live with the existing one.

I will EDC this knife for the next month and put it through the paces at work. I'm positive that it will hold up just fine. Below is a picture of the knife... because I know you guys haven't seen them enough. ;)

The ZT0350 (M390) happens to be my favorite ZT... It's the oddball knife in my collection, being the shortest and fattest blade of all, yet is on my keeper list ahead of some higher end blades.

I agree that's a great EDC knife
I had several versions and now I have Tiger Stripes.
Here it is:

two of my favorite folders overall, and favorites from each brand... good choices camper :-)

I think the 0350 is the only ZT I have kept ... (Edit: forgot my Grant & Gavin ZT0500 MUDD).

The day I deassited my 0350, was the day it went off my for-sale/trade list.
Do yourself a favor, try it without the torsion bar installed - for the win.

Thanks guys. I'm actually quite happy with the assist. I own several assisted openers, so they just work for me.

In its price range I think it is the best deal for what you get! Congrats on the new knife!
