zt 550 Rust

Anyone have any experience with the 550 non-coated blade rusting?

Nope not all, but then again I maintain and oil my blades fairly often

i have never had rust issues with the stonewash finish on any Kershaw/ZT knives. the bead blast finish is another story.

Only one I ever had a touch of rust on was the zing. That was on me though for using it at work and not cleaning it or anything for a week of solid use.

Nope, never had that stonewash finish rust on me. It's got a bit of a polish to it as well, which I'm sure helps.

The only thing on my 0550 that gets corrosion is the pocket clip.

There were a few reports of rust on the liners of the early 0551s. No rust for me though on my 0551 or 0550.

If you don't have one get one! It is by far my most carried ZT.

This. But nothing really noticable, just a couple dots.
