ZT 551 framelock question

Hi everyone

I just got a 0551 in trade today. I like the knife alot. My main concern is that the framelock looks to be at about 70-80%. Should I send it back to ZT, or not worry about it? I don't have much experience in framelocks. Can it even be fixed? Maybe something I can do at home?

BTW
1) I love the no choil, it's the main gripe ( the choil, samething on my strider) I have on my xm 18s.
2) not a huge rust issue, so I figure I will polish it out at home
3) feels very smooth and solid lock up except for the 80% lock contact surface
4) SHARP, I have no experience with ELMAX before bit man this stuff feels great.

Anyone with experience with ELMAX blades?

I recommend you read through the existing thread on the subject. All your questions are answered in there. It would not be advisable to drag the subject up as it got rather heated. Just a suggestion.
