ZT 551 Lockup Question

I've been kinda wanting one of those but never got around to putting my name on a waiting list. So 2 days ago I was on a popular online sellers site that said they would
have a few extra once the pre-orders were filled so I called them to find out if I could put my name on the list, well she put me on hold to check the stock and
came back a few minutes later to tell me that they had one in stock if I wanted it. So 2 days later it's here

Now to my question, based on the pictures below does anybody think the lockup is too early? It looks to be about 25% at best. I know it allows for that much more wear but I just wanted to make sure it's safe.
Thanks

P.S. Kershaw/ZT- Please stop using Locktite on the clip screws.

My 0551 is about the same. Just the way I like it. With lots of room for wear.

Do spine tap if it holds don't worry about it.

Sure looks like more than 25% to me. Regardless, it is fine, most want it to lock-up around 25% when new so it has plenty of wear left.

Plus try seeing what it looks like after you squeezed the handle when using it hard.

So we are now up to at least 1400 0551s. It should be about time for the 0550s.

To remove blue Loctite fixed SS clip screws - or any assembly screws - take a 25-30 W soldering pencil, wipe it's tip free of excess solder with a damp paper towel, and apply it's hot tip to the Torxx screw head for 5-10 seconds, then unscrew. Heat breaks the weak bond of blue Loctite. This tip came from Benchmade! Your lockup looks to be ~40% - perfect. Remember, blade centering is somewhat of a function of pivot screw tightness. Enjoy your fantastic knife.
