Thought you guys would enjoy some comparison shots of my knives vs. the ZT 560. They are crappy iPhone 4S camera pictures, and mine has a whack yellow glow on one side, but it gets the job done. Enjoy!

1. CRK Large Sebenza w/ African Blackwood
2. Spyderco Military
3. Rick Hinderer XM-24
4. Zero Tolerance 560
5. Zero Tolerance 302

Thanks for the pics, so its about the same length as the 0300.

And yeah, how is that clip? strong retention? flimsy at all?

The clip is a bit dinky for the weight and size of the knife, but it wouldn't fail (on me anyways) and in no way does it feel flimsy. Deep pocket clips dont bother me, but It would be better if the clip was more like the 302, but I still like it as is.

I love the deep pocket clip design. It belies how much knife is actually in your pocket.

Love the comparison pictures. I want one of these things so bad. Low-ride pocket clip makes it a definate -must- have. Only reason my 0301 isn't in my pocket every day is because of the pocket clip. I have to get one of these 560 somehow. Anybody have secrets? :)

Great pics:)

The other day when you mentioned that you could open your's left handed with the thumbstud/bladestop, I never thought much of it. But last night I was messing about with mine, and to my suprise, I too can easily flick it open with my left hand, using the thumbstud. You're right, it is next to impossible with your righthand, but easy peasy using my left. Not at all important or anything, just thought I'd mention it.:)

Thank you for posting these. Did I see an Umnumzaan in one of your first pictures you posted before when you first got the knife? If so, do you think you could post up a few comparison pictures? I would really appreciate it.

Thanks for the pics Rocky. I was wondering how the 560 and the 030x compared in size. I know I'll like the size of the 560/561 better than my 0551.

Thanks for the pics! Excellent lineup! I was surprised that it wasn't thicker myself, but that won't keep me from getting one. Gotta have those ZTs!

You are probably unknowingly pushing on the lock bar with your middle finger when opening it right handed. Try opening it right handed with your middle finger off the knife.

Thanks for the pics. I found the 300 series too small for my hand. Your pics confirmed the 0560 will be just right.

So i am wondering if you could give a direct comparison with the 0560 and the hinderer. i have been saving dollars for a xm-18 this summer, but now i am wondering if i should just put that money on a 0560/0561 and save a hundred bucks. curious how the quality and such lines up, which you think is better or how much difference there is between them, and seeing as you have both i am hoping you could compare and what you would reccomend. FYI the money difference isnt a real big issue and i am pretty confient that given a couple months i could have access to purchase either one.

I like the clip on the Hinderer. But I'm probably the only person that likes the clip on the 0300. I don't think I need to hide the knife with a deep carry clip and it's just easier to retrieve with a bit sticking up. I'll probably love the deep carry clip once I have on thouh. I really like the filler for the alternate clip mount on the Hinderers and that the clip is stonewashed to match the rest. I'd like to handle both more to see which is more comfortable in an ice pick grip. I really like Rick's Spanto grind and wish the 0560 was a bit thicker at the tip. Prices being equal, I'd still take the 0560. Prices being what they are, I stand by my earlier exclamation which I won't repeat as I don't wish to start a flame war again. I'd love to have both though. If money were truly not an issue, being an OREGON knife nerd, I'd get the licenses for the long dead Lone Wolf T3 designed by local Bill Harsey and give it a 3D machined Ti frame lock, a flipper, and KVT with models in carbon fiber and stabilized figured Oregon black walnut.

No Umnumzaan here!

No problem glad you guys are enjoying the pics!

@lanceh, I actually sold the xm today. I did take some comparison shots last week and can send them to your email. Shoot me a pm with the addy. Also the 560 is comparable in size with the xm-24. The xm-18 will be much smaller then the 560.

The pics may be a bit deceiving, the 560 is not thin by any means. It isn't as thick as the 302 or XM-24 but it isn't far off. I find the weight and feel the most comfortable out of the three.

For the cost of the XM-24 on the second hand market vs retail of the ZT, if I could choose an xm-24 or two ZT's, the 560 and 561 I would choose the ZT's and the extra $200 or so in my pocket. The Hinderer is one of the best built folders I've handled but it's much heavier and bulkier then the ZT. When you guys handle the 560/561 you will see what I mean.

Im loving this knife... I watched kershawknivesmike video on youtube. This knife is a beast! deep pocket clip, skeletonized liner, a flipper, looks like an expensive hinderer knife, light weight and the list goes on! Im going to buy this one!
