Hi all,
I'm a retired US citizen living in Morocco and visiting my son in Portland OR. I just got the excellent ZT 561 and I'm very happy with it , but need some suggestions. I am unable to carry in my pocket since the police frown on ANY weapons (I carry a impact grade American hickory hanbo "cane" as my primary defense weapon.) So I plan to carry the ZT IWB abdominal rear cant... shirt out (it's hot in Morocco).
My problem is that the ZT has Sooooooo much traction that it's starting to rub me raw. I tried bringing my boxers up a bit to cover the skin, but it hinders the knives draw. Arrrgh. Any suggestions? I'd really appreciate the help.
BTW any of you ehmmm more mature members....I can live in Morocco on ONE Social Security check with my wife AND we each are able to travel once a year to the US; hell can't live in the US one person on SS  so if your means are limited, Morocco's a great place to live.
thanks in advance

I almost always carry a back up IWB, closer to 4 o'clock though. On the off occasion that my 560 is that back up I don't have any chaffing issues but, one solution might be to swap the clip for left hand carry so that the titanium scale faces your body. Not ideal, I know, but it could be a short term solution to what seems to be a short term problem.

FYI, I find FRN and an opening hole to be the ideal IWB carry. Eg: Spyderco Endura, Benchmade Pika. This configuration absolutely disappears whether driving, sitting, standing, etc.

Safe travels and good luck with the local PD regardless!

Get yourself a kydex or leather sheath with belt loops. Or maybe look into a the 0566, same knife just a bit smaller.
