Decided to take some pics of the two in case anyone was wondering what they are like side by side. Volt is slightly thinner.

Nice pictures! I love both of those knives - the Volt 3600 was just not made in enough numbers to allow a lot of people to enjoy them, and now they are very expensive on the secondary market.

Thanks for the cool comparison shots -

Agreed it's very sad, I would love to own one but can't justify given the resale price. Seems like a great knife design, very ergonomic from the looks of it, slightly easier to carry than the 0560, and the most beautiful knife I've seen to date with a composite blade. I wonder why they didn't do full production on them.

A Volt re-run would be awesome. Wouldn't mind if they replaced the CPM D2 spine with Sandvik steel or made the entire blade M390 or Elmax.

I had started a thread last week about wishing there was a high end successor to the volt3600, not many semed intersted. I feel like it would be such a winner for kershaw....theres the proto rj martin similar to it, but it is a different knife and has a recurve blade, diamond pattern handle. Id like more of a rerelease...

From pictures I believe it will be larger also.

The 0600 is a nice knife, but I'd prefer a smooth contoured handle with the CF inlay, or even a Ti bolster and CF half scale.
