I am honestly at a loss.
Just picked up the ZT 600 and have been fondling it and admiring it. I really love the knife. The ergo's are excellent, the blade looks good. However...
Could I really carry this. I have said size and weight didnt matter that much to me (I wear jeans a lot). However this knife really takes the cake and is making me reconsider.
I EDCed heavy big knives (ZT 560, Esee 4/Izula, ZT 350, Lionsteel SR1 and a few others). This knife however is on a whole different level.

The size isn't the issue it's the weight. The 2 oz difference between the ZT 560 and the ZT 600 really makes me wonder if I could edc this.

What do you guys think? Ima give it a real try today.

If you don't mind sharpening a recurve, then by all means do it!

Unless you are 110lbs soaking wet carry that beuauty! I carry mine all the time and love how it rides when I am wearing jeans. Great knife all around.

Wait.

You have a 560, don't mind the size, and don't want to carry it?!

I carried my 560's (Sold them all). I am starting to prefer lighter and consequently smaller knives but I can definitely carry a larger knife if I want.

Anyways got some things to do today, going to carry the 600 and see how it goes. (real world use> paper specs)

Don't remind me. Thankfully I have the Sharpmaker, and several diamond rods it will suffice. I no longer do the crazy 6k edges I use to. Too much time not enough reward (let's face it the wickedly sharp fine edge is gone after you cut anything mildly abrasive.

the 0600 carries MUCH smaller than it's size. I think it carries better than a 0560 personally.

I definitely get the desire to carry smaller. I picked up a 0566 before the 0560 for work due to size. I was reading that as "I desire large blades", which is why I was thrown a bit. Byproduct of pre-coffee posting.

Can you? Sure you can. Will you? I believe you already know the answer to this...

I carried mine every day till I got my RJ Martin. It carries well for a big knife and is very durable. The B75P steel holds a good edge and sharpens very easy.

Well if u don't want I'm accepting donations :)

Came out wrong. I prefer lighter and consequently smaller knives but will still carry a large knife if it's light enough (ZT 560 for example).

Just went out for a bit so far it's okay to carry surprisingly. Doesn't bother me. Doesn't weigh me down.

We'll see how it goes.

How did you sharpen it? Edge pro or wicked edge? How'd it go for with the recurve?

Don't turn it into a user if you are not 100% sure you want to hold onto it. Rather make it available to someone else and use the money to get something you know will work for you. If in doubt move on. The right knife will not create any doubts.

Most of my daily activities don t require a heavy edc knife. I can carry a specific heavy knife for heavy cutting. Generally a lighter knife is preferable.

I had one. The quality was absolutely top notch. Was comfortable, beautiful, and it did carry better than it should have. In the end, it was too much folder for me to carry. At that size, I'd rather have a fixed blade. It was just a little too much on the nice side to carry and use so I traded it off. I kind of regret the trade but that's my own fault. If I'd sold it for 4-500 bucks I don't believe I would have regretted getting rid of it.

Clanton, the one I had had that unsharpened blade heel the same as yours. Don't know if that's common or maybe you have the one I had.
