ZT 770, Hard to Open?

I loosen the pivot screw and that did not help. Is the detent on the knife to strong? Could I fix this? My carbon fiber 770 opens real smooth and is about perfect.

My 0770 requires a good bit of pressure on the flipper to activate the SpeedSafe.

I'm in the same boat. Going to try a trick I read about and leave it "half-open" (and thus depressing the liner lock) overnight to see if that relaxes it.
