They were a sprint but they aren’t unicorns. I imagine people are just holding them or they’re done trying to sell them for absurd profit.Have one New . Is this one a unicorn, cuz I never see it anywhere and I wonder if I should keep it
Thanks

Unicorn? No. They're out there; and they pop up for sale, or in discussion threads, from time to time.Have one New . Is this one a unicorn, cuz I never see it anywhere and I wonder if I should keep it

You should have just said that in the first placeTonight I was trying to reach out to some other members. I want to see what I should be asking for the BRZ, and what they thought I should pay for the 804CF
It is a damn tough knife though. I have the originals in Elmax, and that was some good stuff: one of my favorite knives.I had a regular production ZT 0801. The action of it is among the best ZTs. The blade is VERY thick behind the edge and I suspect all its variants are just like that. It's a cool fidget piece but not a good cutting tool IMO.
Did you wish you bought the 452G10 or the BRZ. I ask cause I have the rose gold 452 and want to offload it. ThanksIMO the 0801BRZ is a much better looking knife than the CF or copperhead. Too much going on with those visually for my taste. The BRZ came out right around the time as the 0452G10 did, and i really regret not buying one. They look beautiful. I would guess they are just as rare and worth about the same price as the gold 0452 and the other 0801 sprints.
And yes definitely keep it if you don’t need the money. They’re beautiful and will probably go up in value over time if you don’t use it.
I wish I bought the 0801brz, I have a couple of the gold 0452s, they’re my favorite knives in my collection. Thank you thoughDid you wish you bought the 452G10 or the BRZ. I ask cause I have the rose gold 452 and want to offload it. Thanks

We did have this discussion, and I respect your input. You most definitely seem to know your ZTs. The TiBLU was a beautiful piece of ano ! When we last chatted, I confessed to selling the wrong one, because the BLU was stilI somewhat available. Tonight I was trying to reach out to some other members. I want to see what I should be asking for the BRZ, and what they thought I should pay for the 804CF . I am however, glad that you weighed in on this again. I didn't even know about the copperhead or the BW or black versions of the 801, until we chatted about it, (I just saw that copperhead from an old BHQ listing, and I don't care for the aesthetics of it at all!).
As to eBay, I have been buying and selling on evilBay for about 4 years now and I want to stop enriching the coffers of that bastion of greed. They said, they were going to be managing payments so sellers would save that 3% that went to PP . They now have added their own 2.55% fee to manage payments. I also enjoy using the forums, not just to see what members like yourself know about the the value of the blades, but to talk with the community of knife lovers. Many people on eBay just want to flip pieces that they waited to drop and try to double their investment. I look forward to chatting again, and hope I didn't agitate you by posting that thread.
Thanks

SgtYeah, I just sold a bunch of knives on EB that I couldn't sell here.
Set up a separate checking acct just to use w/EB for that purpose. Didn't want them to have the ability to dip into my regular checking account.
The process was as "seemless" as using PP but they are just taking a bigger cut for themselves by cutting out PP. Weren't EB & PP sister companies? Anyway, I haven't computed it exactly yet but, after 15 sales, they ended up taking around 15% and I "only" netted about $1.3k.
Robbers!!!
I really don't see how people "in business" (and not just people like me trying to "get rid of stuff" regardless of the loss) make any $ selling on EB. They have to be working on at least a 100% markup to do so, otherwise it's just a $ losing proposition for merchants to sell there.
But, you can't beat it for being a national/intl marketplace where you can put stuff up for sale to sell. No doubt about that!
