Like most other ZT knives, it'll be next to bombproof. Yes, S30V should be just fine in that application.

They were originally a very small limited production a few years back iirc. Now that its a regular production model I might pick one up just cause. S30V wouldn't be my first choice for a bayonet, I'll be putting this one to use and see if my opinion changes.

These will be out very soon, last I checked the knives were made and they were waiting on sheaths. That was several weeks ago. Very nice piece.

Because it's a bayonet? From what I've seen, knives that function as bayonets don't tend to be very popular. YMMV.

Well from what i have seen it makes a sweet knife too. I personally would remove the guard anyways.

I agree. Other than than guard that looks very sweet knife. I do love the blade shape. I own one ZT and I have to say its bankvault sturdy. There's probably no ZT knife that would be sturdy, bombproof with banklock sturdy locking... Unless they're fixed blades which are rock solid... naturally :D
