Does anyone have any idea what these might be worth?(Sog Mini Vulcan and ZT BLK KVT S90V, both lnib and never used) I looked but found differing prices.
My wife has a few small totes with knives in them and wants to thin the herd as it were.
Thank you.

The ZT was a sprint run, so it's probably worth more than the standard.

Have you looked at AZCK, bladebinge... an old listing from bladeOPS showed $240.

Thank you for the reply. I did see the $240 list price for the ZT and I believe the SOG was listed at ~$90.
I did look for old sale threads but wasn’t able to nail down current prices although I did see a ~$120 sale for the SOG sometime last year.

I'm a ZT collector and am always looking for certain ZTs to add to my collection & regularly follow ZT listings & sales here on BF and also on EB & ACK.

Except for the knives in highest demand, the resale prices for ZTs are generally depressed.

There were several variations & Sprints of the 0095 made. The 0095BW was the main model distributed by ZT in the US. It should go for around $150-200. A 0095BW recently went for $175 on ACK.

Based on what I've seen, the most valuable & desirable variations of the 0095 are the Plain 0095 Russian & the Sprint 0095TANBLK which should go for around $300-450. Asking prices are, of course, much higher but I've seldom seen these models actually sell for such prices.

The only 0095 that I've got is the Plain Russian which I got for a little less than $300.

The other Sprints like the 0095TSBLK & 0095BLK are niche models that would be of greatest interest to 0095 collectors and "could" go for the same prices as the Russian & TANBLK if you can find a collector that really wants them badly enough.

FWIW, I was recently offered a TANBLK for $479 but it didn't come with the box & I didn't want it that badly.

On the other hand, a TSBLK sold for just $175 last August 2025 on ACK which doesn't surprise me because I think that people either love or hate TS designed blades. I'm in the hate 'em camp & don't own a single knife with a TS blade.

Anyway, the MSRP for the 0095BLK was $300 & MAP was $240. So, IMO $300-350 would be reasonable "asking price: for one now. At least that's what I'd currently be willing to consider paying for one, if I was interested in buying one (not that I am), but a seller should be willing to accept less, if (s)he really wants to sell one. 🤷‍♂️

-----------------------------

BTW, IMO, currently the WORST place to sell but the BEST place to buy a ZT is here on The Exchange because of the very low asking/selling prices posted here (provided you're able to see what the asking prices were before the sellers delete them from their listings post-sale).

Generally, the worst place to sell any knife is ACK because they charge 25% off the top to sellers but it's still a good place to buy knives because, despite the seller's fee, a knife will only sell what the "market" will accept. The only good thing about ACK for sellers is that they'll handle everything but sellers pay a high price for that.

There is also a risk in "consigning" anything for sale. If you read the fine print, a consignor (the seller) actually transfers "ownership" of the item (whatever it is) to the consignee (the dealer) & if the dealer goes belly up, you have no recourse except thru bankruptcy court (if it gets that far) to get your knife or any financial compensation for it back.

There are, of course, variations in what a particular model will sell for on ACK (and other marketplaces) but if you throw out the high & the low, the average of the other sales is a still a good indication of current value.

Like it or not, the BEST place for both buyers & sellers for knives IMO is EB because the fees charged to sellers are "only" about 15% and because EB is an INTERNATIONAL marketplace where actual sales prices (as distinguished from the asking prices) are the best for establishing current values.

The only problem on eBay (as opposed to ACK) is that they only show recent sales w/in the past month or so. So, if you want to keep track of long term values you need to keep an eye the asking/sale prices for knives there regularly.

Thank you so much for that information. I really appreciate you taking the time to type that out.

Sgt1372 is the kai/kershaw/zt expert so I trust his opinion on pricing. Big collection, tons of knowledge

I would just add bladebinge to the short list of marketplaces to sell. They have been around for a few years now and I like using them. They have both a marketplace and a regular online shop, where they collaborate with various designers and brands and sell exclusives. All that to say they are reputable, and as a seller they take 7.5% as the fee for using their popular marketplace. Money held in escrow and released to the seller after they ship(shipping labels are made for you through the site, just select whether you want to offer free shipping or have buyer pay, then hit print). Pricing like anywhere else, disregard outliers and take the mean average. You can search sold listings and see the price history. A black one like new sold for $250 recently
