I swapped out my bearings on my ZT 0452 with some aftermarket multi-row captured bearings. Knife actually flips much smoother and I enjoy the action even more now.
BUT, the new bearings and washers have altered the lock interface/geometry. Where the steel lock face used to completely contact the blade tang, it now only contacts on the front edge of the lock face (see below).
The knife locks up solidly and theres NO blade play at all. I havent had any issue of the lock slipping or unlocking unintentionally. I am uncertain if I have somehow made the knife less safe or if I will produce unnecessary wear on the lock interface and lessen the lifespan of the lock.
