 I had the torsion bar break in my month old 0566. I took it out and decided that I definitely liked the knife better with it. I stripped one of the spacers and screws in the process. Must have cross-threaded it. I read here on the forums that ZT would send you misc. parts if needed. I sent them an e-mail, and about a week later I am better than new. The cleaning and polishing that I did trying to get this thing to flip manually seems to have really helped the way it functions assisted. ZT's customer service is great!:D

I bought a ZT0300 in March this year, and after hearing stories of the torsion bars breaking I was a little concerned. So I sent ZT/Kai an email, asking if I could perhaps have a torsion bar mailed to me. Two weeks later I have a package from Kai in my mail box, and in it was 3 torsion bars and all the hardware (including new phosphur bronze washers) to fix my 0300 if ever anything on it broke. Also, it didn't cost me a penny, just 1 email.

Great company, great service.
