Sorry if this has been posted, but I searched and couldn't find it.

Looks like a sweet blade. I hope this one will be more readily available and not a limited run, though I figure it will be. ZT has been putting out some quality stuff though regardless.

Must not have searched too hard since it's on the front page and it several pages long.

I normally don't like tanto blades but I really like this one. I think I will buy this one as it speaks to me.

Yeah my bad, I got a little over excited. In any case, looking at all the new ZT models makes my wallet hurt.

Ahhh thats because its more of a traditional shape. The the tip section (kissaki) curves up from the grind (yokote) instead of going up straight at an angle.

If this thing had a flat spine it would look like a freaking katana. ZT nailed the blade shape on this one.

Yeah I'm not fully convinced though. Emerson makes plenty of tantos but never anything quite like this. I think ZT may have had a lot to do with its design.
I think it's very reminiscent of his new ETAK B knife.

Ah ok cool! I wasnt aware of that new one! That's a great looking knife too.
I like the blade shape, but I didn't order it because of the handle. It sticks up way too high in the pocket from the pictures I've seen of the clip placement. This ZT collaboration looks like it will be better in every way (handle, clip placement, blade material, etc.).

Fit and finish, blade grind, looks, handle materials, and more.

I saw this knife a few weeks ago and remember thinking "I would buy that if it had a framelock with a steel insert and better steel." ZT seriously read my mind.
