zt fake?

Hey guys

I bought two zt 350 from different places. One has serial number 7xxx and the other one 9xxx.
the knife with 7xxx series has a marking "Speed Safe S30V Ken Onion Design"
the other one has "Speed Safe Ken Onion Design" other than that both knives look identical.
fit and finish on both is superb. Am I just paranoid?

Yeah, they should be legit. I had a 0350kw that didn't say s30v on the blade too, It was real.

Just be careful, there were definitely some ZT fakes going around on EBAY.

The one in question is from ebay. The thing is why would anyone try to sell knock-off of a $100 knife?

After further investigation I traced the origin of the knife to the internet store.

So the knife is most likely real. Thank u for your help.

Most ZT fakes you'll see are the 0200 series, and they're horribly faked.

youll know if its fake. trust me. the fakes even have a different weight. and usually are made out of some crappy steal thats kinda obvious. theres a fake crkt ripple at walmart. its obvious that its fake.

I know the lasering on the ZTs. The fakes don't have the same lasering except for a poor ZT lasering. They're still both legit

That's a special run done for Wal-Mart. It's not a fake.

Because the country in which they are made have no respect and are not necessarily required to abide by US laws. Tere is no such thing as Intellectual Property, copyright, trademark. Those are just words, nothing more.

Actually, the blade is made from steel. Steal is what they do when they copy a knife that without permission and market it as the original and legitimate version.

Dang it, It must not of been that obvious...you mean to tell me I bought a fake Ripple??? I should of known that price was too good to be true...
