Anyone like these? I just got a 0200, and bought a 302 from a fellow, on the forums. To me, they are like custom folders. If you break these, you need a Strong fix blade. I also like how both models opens. I wish I had got one of the Tadgear models.:(

I just picked up a ZT 0350 along with a Kershaw OD-1 & Emerson and so far really like it. The thin blade I know I will like around hunt camp or for just regular cutting chores. The flat G-10 scales feels great in my hand.

i love the 300 series they are about as close to custom as you can go without such midtech companies as strider and chris reeve maybe emerson.

I am a big fan of the ZT line and the quality of knife they produce for the price you pay. The ZT0200 is one of, if not the best, deals going for a heavy duty folder. I have 3 ZT0200's, a ZT0500, a ZT0300, and a ZT0650. Yep, I like them! Btw, on the 0200's, one is a 0200, a 0200ST, and my current carry piece, a 0205KW.

oh`yeah, I like`em so much, the 205 is the first knife in my avatar. I wanna get the 200 now and I`m not even a fan of black blades?

They are definitely top quality knives with good materials. It depends on what you like. If you're looking for a knife that fills your pocket and feels weighty, the 200 and 300 would probably please you. To me, the blades are a bit too wide and don't slice as well as others due to their grinds. I'm also not a fan of the weight and recurves.
They do a good job of looking very cool and "tactical", but they give up some of the function in return. If I were taking a knife with me in the field, or on a deployment, they would not make my top picks. However, they would look great in a display case or as a conversation piece.

Guess it really depends on what you have in mind to use it for. I've had no problems using the 0200 in walks through my property. It has been used to sever small limbs, and to do so in ease. Briars, and vines (not posion ivey):-D, and I have really looked cool in doing so. Then, in a tactical situation, I had to deanimate a big squirrel I had shot and then skin it. The 0200 did an excellent job! All kidding aside, the 0200 is a great knife and one I enjoy carrying. It does not get used everyday, but I still carry it. I use my carbon steel Case Barlow razor for most of my day to day jobs. Also switch up with my 0500 at times. I have really put the 0500 through its paces. Wrote a thread a while back about that. Sure some folks carry a knife because it is a cool looking knife, and nothing wrong with that. I appreciate how well constructed and precisely fitted these knives are and it gives me a good feeling to be able to carry this type knife. As for a recurve blade, for what I have used the knife to do, it has not been a disadvantage, in fact the recurve seemed to really draw the squirrels neck into the blade and make the cut an easier job to accomplish. So my advice to all folks is to carry what you can and what you like. If you happen to look cool in doing so, then more power to ya! Life is too short to carry a knife you do not like!

The ZTs are great knives and bring plenty of function to the table, partly why they are so popular. I've also yet to experience one that I didn't like the feel or look of. If you want a real "brick" of folder, the ZTs fit the bill.

ZT 0150 boot knife
ZT 0500 MUDD
ZT 0300
ZT 0610ST auto

:D They all get used and always ask for more!

And I have no problem sharpening the recurve in the 0300, and they cut fine for my needs (Outdoor work, I don't want a flimsy blade)

the 0300 is very nice, just too big and heavy for me to attempt to edc. and the 0200/0350/0500 arent near as cool imo. i wish theyd release a shorter (spine to edge) 3.75-4in blade length 0300. which will never happen. so im going to pout.

I love my 301. The overall size is a bit bulky, so i only gets carried when I have some extra pocket space. The clip on this knife is very strong, and when attached to the Ti side, it really grips the pocket. I have no worries aout it getting lost unless I put it down and forget it. The only negative I found with it is when using the thumb studs to open, the flipper will pinch my hand a bit if I'm not paying attention. Not really a big deal since I got used to using the flipper. This is my first ZT knife, I wouldn't hesitate to add a couple more.

I think my next ZT will either be a 0301 or a 0121. Maybe Johnnie Walker and I will hash it out later tonight? :D
