Hi guys!

I damaged my pivot screw of my 0095bw and asked ZT on instagram if it is possible to buy a replacement if I live in South Africa. They told me it is possible with a $10 fee and gave me a link to a form I filled in on their website.

They e-mailed me an automated message:

This was yesterday but I am not sure how to pay them. Will they send me an e-mail with payment instructions? Does anybody have experience with international requests for parts? Thanks in advance!

Thanks, guess I'll just have to wait.
I'm also from South Africa, for the past 2 years, I've requested a torsion spring( twice) and a pivot screw for a limited edition model, both time it took nearly 6 months to get to me, but both time i was pleasantly surprised.

First i didn't pay a cent, then they send me multiple copies of the spring and pivot, also free of charges. so if you are patient and play your card right...

Good luck.

Wow another South African. Nice to see I'm not completely alone here haha. Thanks for the tip. I'm sure they won't ignore me, I hear their customer service is very good.

In my case, the delay was not due to a lack of customer service from ZT, but the parts been held up by the custom, waiting to be cleared.

Again , good luck to you.

By the way, how serious was the damage? cosmetic? or functional?

Bit of both. I used too much loctite and almost stripped the screw. It can still be unscrewed but the driver has quite some play and I'm afraid it will sooner or later start to strip.

Did they get back to you? If not have you tried calling during open hours?
