ZT Pocket Clip Question

So I received my 0770CF today and just love it!! Weight did surprise me at first but I like it. Question tho is anyone aware of a pocket clip from other ZT model that would fit the 0770CF? I like the black clip that's on it just fine but would like to make knife mine alittle more and think it would look great with a silver stonewashed pocket clip. Don't think ZT has any stone washed pocket clips and if they don't Ill do it myself put need to find one that fits first.
 
I got a spare clip for my 0566 and sand blasted it to see how it would turn out and it actually looks factory, except there is no ZT logo anymore :p I forget where I saw it but I did see someone put a 0566 clip on a 0770 because the clip on the 0566 is a little bit bigger. As far as I know they only have black clips with that hole spacing
 
Thanks for info Ill check out my 0566 clip and see how it will work when I get home. I think I may be able to stonewash one my self or atleast try :) If it will fit Ill buy a few to play with
 
The best advice I could offer is for you to try the clips you already have. It's all at your fingertips.
 
Yeah I have a good many models Ill try what I have just wanted to see if anyone played around with their 0770 models and knew something
 
just carry the knife everyday and the black will become whatever is underneath. personally my favorite look/style is just used and beat up :D
 
Looks like a 0566, 0801, and maybe a knockout clip will fit but their all black as well. Was hoping to find silver clip to stonewash
 
What clip do you prefer? I could email ZT and get one, then sandblast it and ship it to you if you would like
 
Man that would be great I think I like the 0770CF clip the best just want a silver one that's stone washed
 
I'll email ZT and get a 0770cf clip :) After it is sandblasted it will have the finish of a beadblasted blade, but it will give a good platform for a stonewash if you wanna try to stonewash it :thumbup: Shoot me an email :cool:
 
Let me know how it turns out. I've wanted a silver one ever since I got my 0566, so I got an extra clip sent to me but don't know where I can get it sandblasted.
 
I believe all the clips of that style are interchangeable (screw spacing is the same). The clip on the Thermite is already silver. It is bead-blasted though, not stonewashed. Also, it'll say "Kershaw" on it instead of "ZT". That same style clip also fits the Scallion, so it'd stand to reason the Scallion clip will fit others with that same spacing. That would be a different style clip (and not deep carry), but it is also silver (bead blasted).

I have a 0566 clip I sandblasted that I could send you. I also have a pivot I sandblasted (the pivot, not the screw) I could send you if you want. Shoot me an email :)
 
Yes I looked and the Thermite clip would work also and its silver but I still think I like style of the 0770CF clip.
 
Got the 0770CF clip in today and sandblasted it. I'll hopefully get it out to you tomorrow :thumbup:
