Just curious, but why such a short pocket clip? It seems very easy to lose or pop out since its so short...Also, I went to move the clip for tip down carry and one of the screws was stripped before I even touched it. Will they send me one?

Thanks,
CM

I'm sure if you ask them that you'll more than likely get more than one.

Kershaw/ZT/Kai customer service is second to none.

If you can go without that clip for a bit and want a longer one it would be nothing all that hard to make one up for it out of some scrap titanium in .040 or .050 thickness. Personally I like shorter clips because they cover up the fact that you are carrying such a big knife and they can be easily hidden under a shirt tail left hanging vs still visible because it hangs lower on your pocket than the shirt does. Just a personal pref though. I've found tension is usually better with shorter clips also.

I think it's on one the best clips out there, and no doubt supposed to mimic the Strider clips.

CM,

The reason that the ZT pocket clip is on the short side is that it can be placed on a lot of different knives fairly easily. This makes the quad carry that the 0200 and 0300 have possible.

Get in touch with Warranty Department and they will gladly send you a couple of new screws. Make sure you are using a Torx T6 driver on the clip screws.

The combination of the stiffness of the short clip and the 3D texturing of the handle materials is tearing up the rim of my pockets pretty bad. I have a ZT302 and absolutely love it - . But I'm definitely going to replace the clip with some a bit more pocket friendly.
