Online prices on many ZT models have dropped considerably in the last couple of weeks. Great news for consumers. Just curious as to why the
drop and should we buy now or will the trend continue?
-thanks

MAP pricing is in effect for the ZT line.
If someone is selling for more than 20% off MSRP then they will have to stop or they will lose the right to sell ZT.

Sonny, do you know if that affects oversea sellers of ZT aswell, or just the sales of the States?

I'm pretty sure there is a policy in effect for overseas as well.
Not sure if it's the same as the one here in the U.S. but I can't say it would be any different.

MAP pricing is price fixing to me - I can't buy products in good conscience from MFG's who force MAP pricing. I hope my favorite knife MFG's don't start doing that. It will probably be a long time before I think about another ZT. I sold all the ZT's I used to own anyway . . .

Wish I could find someone dropping the price on the 0150. That's the only ZT that ever really caught my eye, and it still seems to be going for around the same price ($120) it always has, at least everywhere I checked. :(

Funny, I was thinking the exact same thing. the 150 is a sweet little dagger. About the nicest I have seen in that size.

I felt the same way, but then again the knife ends up losing overall value in time. Soon no one will want to pony up the money for one. Then come the knock offs.

Got my 0301 new from a dealer here for less than MAP. Of course I had to email for the prices.

I wouldn't have considered a ZT at the MAP prices though.

Anyhow, I did a quick google, the best deal I could see was an expired listing for a 0301 for 212$ on egay. I got mine for even less than that. Not that I'm looking to buy a new ZT now, I'll wait on their new 2010 models.

Email me if one of you two want one (NIB). I did do a full review of the 0150 in the review's section about 8 months ago. I love the knife--it's always in my backpack.
