I emailed ZT almost a week ago asking about replacement screws since my 0566 lost 2 magically and i've yet to hear back from them, is this normal?

Not unusual. When I emailed them a similar request they had already shipped the parts by the time they got around to responding. I think I got the torsion bar I requested the same day I got the response.

yes, it's normal. It was at least 2 weeks before they emailed me back. I got faster response calling them.

I called and had parts delivered in 7 days. I have emailed them in the past and it took 3 weeks.

I usually have good luck with them. They email me back within a day.

But the last time I needed body screws for a ZT, I never got a response. I still got my stuff 2 weeks later, but no email letting me know. I guess it just depends on who's working at the time.

alrighty just making sure it didnt get lost

If you feel uneasy, I don't think a quick call could hurt. Just ask if they've received your email, and if not put in your request over the phone.

KAI is a very popular manufacturer who handles a ton of these requests. I'm sure they get backed up from time to time.

It's also good to remember that they're gearing up for SHOT Show. And since KAI has made SHOT their personal playground for the last few years, they're probably more than a little distracted and that might extend the time table a bit.

My experience with the online web form when requesting replacement parts (torsion bars, pocket clips) is that they'll just send the parts and not respond to the message itself (unless they have questions or are seeking clarification). As others have suggested, you can try giving them a call to verify your request was received.

Duh! I didn't even think about that one.

They are excellent with their customer service and usually respond timely with requests. If you don't hear anything, simply contact then again and they will get on it. They could be busy as stated, but they will contact you. Good luck!
