Ok, the ZT 300 is a great platform to work with. It's one of my all time favorites.
Like the Strider SMF I think ZT should mix it up a bit more. They did a good job with different color scales and a TAD and a USN version but I would like to see different grinds, Stonewashed blades and mix the Ti finish and texture along with the G10 up. Also, offer different steel.

Thomas, any thoughts?

Give me a CC version, speedsafe, carbon fiber scale, and S90V...I know im dreaming but that would be a knife!

Honestly, unless they were to offer a different, non-recurve blade shape, I wouldn't really be interested. But if they did, I'd be all over it, as well as any of the variations in blade material, scales, and so forth you're suggesting.

Yeah, I'd be interested in some different blade shapes...A pointy tanto, a long clip, etc.

They are offering Hinderer style grips on the 0560/0561 I would like to see Gunner Grips on a new 300.

My dream 3XX:

CC treatment (two color G10 would be sweet, maybe black and orange)
No liner under G10
Stonewash finish throughout
Assist w/flipper
Reverse Tanto or Drop point blade shape
Hollow grind
Low rider clip
CTS-20CP blade steel (S90V performance with better availability and lower price), perhaps ZDP or Elmax

That pretty much sums it up!:D

My standard MSRP of $29.99 should apply as well!;)

No recurve whle keeping thick blade ( dream would be a longer blade but 3.75" is deifnitely alright)
Offer stonewash or camo/tiger stripe stuff
Offer about 3 -4 cool grinds for the big honking blade
Keep the S30V - an awesome blade steel. It will keep the price from soaring over steel costs that users don't need.
A smidge longer in the handle
Keep A/O (very strong on this platform)
Keep a liner under G-10 side
Offer a variety of G-10 colors for non-lock side smooth, textured
Ti & CF slabs available

I'll think of more stuff and add it later :)

just have it re-ground and re-profiled to take out the recurve in the blade.
Yeah, I know it's possible, but for the extra money that would add to the total investment in the knife, I'd rather just buy another Strider SMF (which I prefer to the 0300 anyway). :D

Ive been saying this for years...

please...something along these lines.

The 300 platform is simply outstanding.
We need more options for that knife... what about laminated steel ?
What purpose would that serve unless they also switched to a relatively brittle steel for the core (e.g., ZDP-189), which would in any case be a poor choice for a "hard use" knife like the 0300?

Agreed S30V is still a very very good steel.

This is a great idea but more of the blade steel would have to be preserved for me to have any interest. Otherwise hell yeah to a hellfire grind! :)

This picture belongs to HAZE but i would like to see something like this in the future for Z.T. He says it is the original blade just highly modified
