Zt vs Kershaw

What do you guys think? Would you rather have a ZT200 or an Offset? A zt300 or a bump? Etc etc. I've been thinking about picking one of these up...

Edit: I'm aware that they're the same company. Hence, the comparison.

ZT is made by Kershaw, so it's not really a "vs." thing, but more of a design thing. ZT's seem more "normal" and user friendly as compared to an Offset, which I look at as more of a study in design than a usable working knife (though it is built like a tank).

ZT200 and ZT302 are the best folders on the market. On may opinion they both will benefit fron stud lock unstead of liner or frame lock, but overall I do not know what can really compete them today. And it is Kershaw knives - actually KIA which is also Kershaw. I think there are some legal issues with Buck and some other things behond those knives - so they sold only by TAD Gear and have no Kershaw or Strider marks on them - only KIA.

Now on my opinion Ken Onion tend to make exotic and unusual design as well as Strider do very "military" or simple and strong design. I think both balance each other very well and knives benefit from this balance they are not too exotic and not too military, just right and this is what make it so great.

I think that this is best Strider knives as well as best Onion knives.

Spec bump and offset is also great knives - they just different (and more available).

Thanks, Vassili.

I can only find ZT knives at tadgear.com

Is anyone else stocking them?

I'm with dano on this one. The ZT 200 & 300 are much more multipurpose, normal style blades. Although the Bump isn't too bad, the Offset is weird.

I didn't like the 0200 all that much. It's a well built knife I just didn't like the ergos. The Bumps on the other hand fit like a glove and are great cutters with a little edge thinning.

I have the offset, zt300 & both green & blue bumps.i think the bumps are the fanciest, very nicely machined & two toned anodized handles, nice satin blades & framelock.i think its the better for edc of the three. the studlock of the offset isnt as easy to close one handed,& when unlocking it, the blade can jump back slightly towards the closed position. this happened to me when i first got it,& it cut me at the spot where both blade grind profiles meet at the center of the blade.the pocket clip is huge, too, theres lots of risk scratching it up, & it can be seen much easier than the zt or bump. the zt is cool, but wide & heavy.real solid frame lock.huge & wide blade.all have 1st rate fit & finish.they are all real well made & unique, but the bumps seem to be the most practical to carry because of its slightly slimmer profile.
