ZT Warranty....

Ok, stupid question, I know...

But I read somewhere that the warranty on ZT knives was basically "If you can manage to break it, we will fix it." However, on the website, the warranty looks the same as Kershaw's.

Not that I am feeling that my MUDD is in any danger of breaking through normal use, I am just curious...

Which is right?

Thanks!!

Just use the heck out of it! Don't abuse it, but use it. Then if it breaks, ask the question ;)

I don't think the mudd will break anytime soon, it's just too beastly.

Originally these knives were marketed to military and police only, I'm pretty sure the unconditional warranty thing was intended for on duty use.

If you're in a warzone or chasing down drug dealers I'm pretty sure they'd be very accommodating, for private use the standard warranty is more likely the case.

According to the ZT Product Manager, Steve Michels, the ZTs have "the same warranty as the Kershaw side, unconditional life-time warranty." "If you break the knife, you get a new knife. No matter what happens to the knife, it's replaced. We stand behind this 100%."

Lol, no I wont do that with a folder.

Might try it with one of my Scrap Yard SODs when they come, if I get bored.:D
