Its rare that I find a knife I like on my local craigslist so this caught my attention. Just dont know much about it though. Is it worth the $500 asking price? Anyone know anything about it?

The Titanium version is in the $200 range, this is the Copperhead version, much rarer with copper wash and 390 steel.

The Zero Tolerance 0801CF Flipper is a Limited Edition version of the Todd Rexford designed 0801 knife. It is outfitted with 6K twill weave carbon fiber inserts on the titanium handle. The handle is finished with a dark bronze PVD coating and sports a black tip-up pocket clip. The premium M390 steel blade is two-tone finished with satin grinds and dark bronze PVD coated flats.

The 0801CF shares the same great KVT ball-bearing system as the 0801. It provides slick action and the solid titanium frame lock mechanism has a stainless steel lockbar insert to extend the performance and longevity of the knife. This is an incredible knife from the folks at Zero Tolerance

Here is a very detailed, good YouTube review of this beauty.

I'd give $400 for it any day if NIB with papers. Maybe see if he will negotiate with you on the price.

I like mine; only ZT I own. Wish it was a 3mm thick blade instead of a 4 is the only thing I'd change. Think I paid about $100 less than your CL price from a dealer.

Really nice flipping action; doesn't cut stuff the best but in terms of fit and finish and just mechanical precision mine seems as close to perfect for a knife as I've owned. If you like the design and can swing the price I don't think you'd be disappointed.
