Just picked up my second ZT0200. This one is identical to my first except for date of manuf. and serial number, of course. But I noticed something else different, and it has to do with the thumbstuds. From what I can tell the thumbstuds are pressed in, please correct me if I'm wrong, and on this example, the thumbstud that a right hander would use to open the blade, and I'm a righthander, is noticably longer than the other thumbstud. In a closed position the thumstud sticks up almost even with the height of the G-10 scale. As far as I'm concerned, it is a good thing for me since I'm right handed as I can access the blade better with the longer thumbstud, not that I use it that often........flipper is much more to my liking. I'm just curious to know if the thumbstuds are now made this way.......I pity the lefty trying to use them;):), or if someone got just a little overzealous on the press!:D Man, these ZT0200's are da' BOMB!!!:thumbup::thumbup:

cutter, I just checked my 0200 and the thumbstuds are perfectly even (ser. # 0814).

If it's like other Kershaw studs, it's pressed in.
Easy to adjust:
1. Hardwood block with hole drilled in it(sized larger than dia of stud)
2. Another hardwood block(used as a punch), 3.Hammer
4. Locate stud into hole in block.
5. Place "other" block over stud.
6. Hammer block to push stud over a little(to your liking.

The wood keeps from maring finish.

From memory, as I don't have it with me at the moment, my serial # is 1183(?), bod of 01/2008. Far as I'm concerned it is not a problem at all. I may try what you said GW, then again I may just leave it alone and leave it in it's box until that future day when it is needed to replace my first 0200. As I figure it though, it will probably be a grandson replacing it!:thumbup::D
