Now that its been out for a while what do you guys think of a zt0200 for edc? I sometimes find it bulky but i like carrying large folders. I don't seem to have any trouble with the lock but somtimes it feels like you have to dig down to pull it out of your pocket. I was wondering those that have carried this for a while what your impressions.

it's a great knife and my primary EDC. It takes some getting used to with the extra weight and bulk but in the end i have complete confidence knowing it will always produce no matter what you throw at it.
IMO it's a unbelivable knife with much more than it's being sold for

I have it since a good while and it impresses me with its tank-like sturdiness but the bulk and weight cause me to carry it only occasionally. Eventually I might sell it.
Meanwhile I also bought a Spyderco Military which targets the same kind of usage and audience, and I must say that its combination of light weight and sturdiness (also tank-like, but perhaps a little less heavy-tank like :-) ) make it for me a more desirable knife to carry...

Dagon, could not have said it better! But, the ZT200, is one of the best knives, I have ever owned. I carried it turkey hunting, and it sure did good at clearing the trail, of limbs and briars. It sure feels good in your hand.

Razor, I do agree with you and also think that the ZT200 is one of the best knives I ever owned. It will survive any apocalypse you throw at it. The first time I picked it up in a shop it gave me that stupid "this feels soooo right" grin. Actually it is debatable if a Sebenza offers even more sturdiness. I don't think so. The ZT200 is definitely a good product at the price.
And yet, meanwhile I have come to find it a bit cumbersome, while acknowledging its quality. The Military on the other hand shines with its clever and slender design and it does seem nearly as apocalypse-proof as well. In a perfect world where everyone would be tolerant of knives, it would be my non-stop EDC.

I'm really confident in the 0200 on all fronts. I've done a fair amount of chopping with mine, and even internally, it hasnt shown any signs of hard use. Pretty impressive.

For what a ZT0200 costs, it's one of the "must haves" on the market.

In my opinion, the best ZT has to offer yet. Having said that, it is a bit too heavy and bulky. Mine had some minor blade play but it has been fixed for the time being. Good folder, but it won't replace my Bradley Alias as my EDC.

I had one but sold it. But it is an outstanding value, probably as good a bargain as you will find right now. Stellar fit and finish, and if they did one in a smooth scale version with bolsters I'd probably never put it down. keepem sharp

I really like mine but bulk means nothing to me. I tend to carry my 0301 more but if my 0200 was speed safe it would never leave my pocket. But one off those two is always with me.

One of my favorite folders. It is heavy, but I am ok with that. Bulky? a little bit, but since I carry it alone in my right front pocket, it really is not an issue. I have said for the past t years that it is one of the very best values available. It and the ZT0500 have spent more time in my edc roundup than the rest combined. I like it so much that I have all three versions of it, but the KW special, with satin blade is probably my favorite. The lockup on all three have been perfect, and as consistent between the three as would be possible. Somewhere someone mentioned flat scales and Speed-Safe would make it perfect, well Kershaw just took care of that with the G10 Tyrade, which is as close to the ZT0200 as it gets!
