Hey, so I have never owned a kershaw or zero tolerance, and I have been planning on purchasing the ZT0200 by the end of this up coming summer. I would like to know from owners of the knife what they think of it, and whether or not there is something else they would recommend. pics are welcomed and encouraged.
(just in case I confused with the intent of this thread, I would basically like mini reviews of the ZT0200, to add to the list of information on the knife, thanks.)

The ergonomics are great, the lines are aggressive, it holds a edge well, it's very smooth, and it carrys like a much smaller knife. In other words, it's freaking amazing.

Best!

Just be prepared for size and weight. Those things really bother some people. Not me. It is a beast of a knife though.

Any ZT you decide to buy will be a good choice. As for the 0200, it is most definitely a beast. If you have the equipment to sharpen a recurve, go for it. If not, I'd suggest the 0550.

If it is going to be a user, get yourself a Blem from Dave (Kershawguy) and save some bucks. You will not be disappointed.

^"Blem from Dave" seconded. Great user and abuser.

Big but fits the hand well with a nice aggressive but comfortable grip. With a 4" blade you can afford to use some of that space for a partially-serrated edge: ZT 0200ST. Shop around since even brand new they can be had below MAP.

Like SPX said. It is a recurve so a little more of a hassle to sharpen but 154 sharpens easy enough. If you don't mind a beefy knife then your fine. It fits very well in any size hand. If you can handle one at a local shop before you buy then do that and see if you like it.

If you find it too beefy then handle a 0550. Another excellent choice but a little smaller and easier to carry. Awesome knife too. Good luck on your purchase.

Kershawguy has both for very good prices.

When I first got it I was a little surprised by the size, but it fits my hand so well and is really smooth. I love mine. I bought a blem from Kershawguy and have had no problems.

Great ergos and built like a tank. It is big and bulky though and, at least for me, was pretty awkward to carry in my jeans pockets. It wasn't the weight or even the length, but rather the thickness of the overall knife and the various bulges resulting from the shape of the handle. I don't know if ZT or anyone else makes a belt sheath for this one, but that may be worth investigating if you plan to carry this one.

Personally, I prefer the 0301 if you're looking for a beast of a knife. It's heavier than the 0200, but it actually carries much more comfortably (I usually carry right back pocket for this one). If you want a manual flipper instead, I'd suggest the 0560.

Definitely one of my favorite big tank like knives I have, very ergonomic, mines as smooth as my KVT flippers as well.

I really like the 0200. Fits my hand well. Largish heavy knife, but very tough. If you like the 0200, I would suggest the 0300 series as well. Sharpening the recurve can be a pain.

There are lots of full reviews of the 0200 on the web. I think that when it comes to knives like the ZT0200 or 0300 that if comes down to how it feels in your hand, whether or not you care about the weight, and what your typical use case is. I mean, a Kershaw Chive might handle 95% of my cutting needs but I still like to have bigger knife with me.

A good lighter and less beastly alternative with a nice straight edge would be the ZT0550 or the larger ZT0560.

i just got my 0200 in mail this past week and love it.....like everyone says its a tank of a knife so if ur looking for that u found it......i have a few zts now and its my fav and i havent even used it yet

speaking of tanks, its my 117th post, next milestone; 343, lost my bungie cord. anyone here a master chef? how does the "SPARTAN" compare?
