How does the ZT0350 rate as an EDC knife??

I know as a tactical knife it is excellent but I am looking for a good quality EDC knife not just for cutting paper but also things like carrying in the woods and food prep. Weight not a major consideration as most of the time will be in/on 5.11 Push Pack which is both my man bag and my go bag. How good a fit is the ZT Nylon sheath - know it says it fıts ALL ZT folding knives but they do vary considerably in size.

Living in Turkey now, cannot get to see and handle blades to make my own evaluatıon and ZT generally not easily available outside of the States. My budget is in the $100 - $200 range, the minimum being the lowest amount that those dealers who will ship overseas will send. Any recommendation on suppliers (based on price AND reliability) would be appreciated if this is allowed on this forum.

Kershawguy does not ship overseas otherwise might have been considering the composite ZDP - it looks nice.

Thanks

Sorry to hear about the shipping problems to Turkey. I EDC my 350 all the time and absolutely love it. Granted I don't use mine for food prep, for everything else it works great. Good luck man!

If you are looking for a beefy and strong folder for EDC, 0350 is a good way to go. I received one in a trade, within a couple days I had traded out most of my other edc options and purchased another 0350.
If you have never handled a ZT before, you will be very pleased when you get your hands on one. I fully recommend the 0350 for edc duties.

I would suggest to also consider the 0200. My hands aren't large, but my fingers are kind of short and the grip on the 0200 is the best among my ZTs. I find the 0350 handle to be too high. The 0350 feels flat as it is slimmer, and will fit in the ZT sheath but will be loose. The 0200 & 03xx fit in the sheath snug.

Edit: I felt compelled to take some pics and add them, so you can get a more informed sense of the differences.

The ZT350 will fall out of the sheath easily if the flap isn't closed. The ZT0200 isn't tight in the sheath either, but doesn't have much room to fumble around in it. If I hold the ZT0200 by the lanyard, while inserted in the sheath, it won't slip out.

Here you can see how much room is in the ZT sheath with the ZT0350 in there.

They both are excellent users and you won't be disappointed with either one, but you will strongly prefer one over the other depending on what suits you.

Thanks for all that info, particularly the photos, gooeytek but for me 0200 too long, my ideal maximum for EDC is 3.5''. The info on the sheath was interesting - as I suspected it is really too big for the 0350, pity as it would fit on my bags molle.

Glad to help out. A new one from kershaw is the Knockout. It is the same size as the ZT0350, and a lot lighter and slimmer.
