I just picked up a ZT 350. As I already have a few Kershaws with the Speed-Safe
system I figured that the ZT would be the same. To my surprise I am close to unable to open the ZT using the thumb stud. It is so hard that my thumb is sore.
The knife opens easily with the flipper. Is this normal for a ZT? Or is something wrong with this particular knife? Thanks.

Mine opens without a terrible effort on the thumbstud, but they're definitely on this knife as a blade stop, and using the flipper is a lot more comfortable. The little Kershaw or ZT pamphlet that comes with their knives mentions this about their flippers.

Mine was the same way when new. After it breaks in after awhile mine became easier to flip either way.
