So this may be a dumb question but I have to ask. I received a zt0350 for Christmas, and I noticed that it didn't say on the blade what the steel is. I know it's s30v but in all of the pictures I have seen of the knife it is printed on the right side of the blade near the serial number. Should I be concerned?

Did It have a box or were you told It was new? I had my 0300 Blade replaced and It's sterile (No markings) because It's cheaper to make 1 blade with no markings than 2 (One for the 0300 which Is black and 1 for the 0301 and 0302 which are tigerstriped) It's still S30V though.

It came in a zt box with small pamphlet and it all looks legit I was just curious.

And I am very appreciative of my gift and I will keep it no matter what I was just curious.

I wouldn't worry too much about it, but you may want to call ZT to see what they have to say. Can't hurt to ask?

I find it a bit odd. I have two ZT knives and they both have what type of steel they are made from stamped on them. Maybe you have a Blem.

I was thinking a blem as well but I thought they were marked as such. Like I said either way I love this knife.
