Recommendation? ZT0393 compared to RH Half-track

I am looking for a comparison between the ZT0393 and the himderer Half-tack

It will be great if those who have both can share some pictures and experience in term of ergonomics, action and slicing capabilities

They are quite different,but I don’t know why I am starting focusing on this two particular models
 
Are the spanto designed the same way on both knives or has ZT made its own “version” of the hinderer original spanto?

Are they acceptable slicers?
For exemple I have been very disappointed
By the geometry of the 0562, for me that is clearly not a good slicer. Great knife for sure but I don’t get the name of slicer for this knife :)
 
If you think the 0562 isn't a good slicer, then you shouldn't even consider a spanto grind. I've owned the ZT 0562, XM-18 in slicer & spanto, I had to sell the spanto because even for my taste (which I've never found before or since) that it wasn't nearly a good enough cutter/slicer. Looking at the 0393(which full disclosure, I'm not a fan of), the harpoon spanto grind on the ZT 0393 is based on the Hinderer Harpoon Spanto grind, I wouldn't say it is ZT version of that grind since they're extremely similar if not the same. The ZT 0393 will be a much worse slicer than the 0562.

I have just placed an order for a full Ti half track
I should get it in a couple of weeks, I will post some picture of the half track next to the 0393 ;)
 
Another knife in the same mold is the Viper/Hinderer designed Storm.... I had on briefly (had to sell to generate funds) but it's ergonomics were better then the Half-Track for me....
 
Both are going to be relatively poor slicers. They have similar grind geometry and are probably similar in edge thickness and factory edge angle.

They're substantially different in size though, so maybe your choice should be based on that metric instead.
 
Based on my experience I prefer the 0393 over the 0562 for cutting performance

I am exited to compare both spanto interpretations ;)
