Just curious as to the type steel they are constructed from and if they are heat treated, if applicable? I really like the lock and so far it seems to be plenty stout and tight.
Btw, I have another question about the 500. What is the actual weight? I know that the specs read that it weighs 4.9 ounces, but in weighing mine on a small food scale I come up with a little over 6.4 ounces. Just to make sure I was correct, I weighed my ZT0200 and it came in at 7.7 ounces, at which it is spec'd.
Just so it is understood; I am not complaining at all about any part of the 0500. I love the fact that it is heavier than what is stated as I like big and heavy, and as stated above; I really like the sliding rock and it looks like Kershaw has done it up right!
