Hello I am fairly new to Bladeforums, but I have loved messing with and customizing my knives in various ways ever since I was a little kid.
I never got very serious into it & usually just did very basic modifications to take a knife I already loved & make it just a little different & better in my opinion. Well this is really my first knife that I invested a decent amount of time & money to customize. I had been seeing all the videos & pictures of pimped ZT's and really wanted to make one of my own.
The most noticeable changes I have made so far are a reverse tanto style blade regrind along with a convex re-profile. I also acid & stone washed the blade, hardware, liner & Ti frame. It did exactly as I wish for & removed most if not all the machining marks & left a nice finish that didn't effect the rebuild or give any play whatsoever. I am now working on the Ti side of the frame. The G-10 liner has been left untouched for now. I'm still debating doing a full custom liner but haven't had much luck yet.
