Just got done with this scale, and WOW is all i can say. This material lives up to the hype that surrounds it.

Yeah... so... I'm gonna need you to go ahead and send that on over to me. I'll PM you my shipping info, thanks.

Looks incredible! Have you thought of doing some contouring around the edges? Or fully 3D machining it like the factory scale?

Either way, its a beautiful job.

Very nice! It would look good on a 0550 and since it is 3D machined, scales for an 0200 would fit nicely!

Contoured scale like the CBCF's would be awesome. I'd put one on my 0560 to match my CBCF.

It is contoured pretty much the same as the CBCF scale is.

Do you know how they produced the "golf ball" pattern on the factory scale? The only way I can figure that was done was to take the already contoured scale and then do a staccato pattern of shallow punches in a radial crosshatching. Without a CNC router it'd be very labor intensive.

Factory scale is contoured and "textured" at the same time. Instead of the tool making smooth passes over the material, it is is making an up and down wave pattern. No practical way of doing it without CNC. I find it to be an appealing finish, but as a machinist you see why they chose it. Large step over means fast easy production with CNC. Making a smooth scale albeit looks simpler takes much longer machine time on CNC. Hence the upgraded smooth scale on the CBCF model.
