ZT0560 washers: is there a side difference?

I'm the happy owner of a very nice ZT0560.

I took this knife apart to clean it (and also to see how it is made ) and I probably did something wrong because now, the blade is no longer well centred between the two handle sides. The gap is not important but noticeable.

Since every screw is precisely guided by a bevelled edge, the only thing I see, which can explain the problem, is the washer's position, but I'm not sure.

Can you give me an advice to solve this problem?
Thank in advance for your help ! ;)

The position of the washers makes no difference. You have made a mistake reassembling the knife, something is obviously not lining up properly. Take it apart again and reassemble slowly, carefully, and make sure you do it correctly.

I concur - I had mine apart as well and I there was no difference side to side on the washers.

The best advice is just above - good luck!

On the 0560 the most common issue seen in posts here seems to be that the stop pin isn't fully seated which puts the handles at a slight angle and closer to the blade on one side.

Thank you very much for all your advices and explanations.

I don't know exactly what I did wrong, but I took apart the knife again, and everything seems to be in place now. Maybe it was the stop pin, but I'm not sure: I read the last posts after the operation! ;)

The blade is well centred now, even if I can notice a very small gap. But I guess it is just a matter of "mechanical play".

Anyway, I'm very happy with this wonderful knife. The design, materials, opening system… are, in my opinion, the better I can currently find.

I'm used to carry a large Sebenza (that's why I'm used to dismantle my knives for cleaning), but the ZT0560 is now my favourite.

Good to hear - thanks for the follow up and enjoy your 560.

I have one and I love it - I have been carrying it everywhere, using it daily.

Yesterday I trimmed some felt paper used in seams in concrete while I was doing some caulking work.

Love that rugged 560!
