Recommendation? ZT0562CF vs ZT0393

Sorry about another versus thread, I've been undecided for some time now which model to get. For those that own and use both what one do you like best, all things considered?
 
I got both, prefer the look and ergos of the 0393, the 0562 feels beefier and more like a tool/workhorse.
 
I don't own the 0393, but I have the original 0392, so that's close enough to make an educated comparison I hope.

I'd vote for the 0562CF as an edc choice. It wins in blade length, cutting edge, slimness, pocket clip, and materials (CF over G10). And I like full frame locks a bit more than the frame/linerlock hybrid on the 0393.
 
Had a 562, have a 393 (and 2 392's). The 562 carried better with the deep carry clip, but the blade was pretty thick. It also required you to keep your fingers away from the lockbar when you flipped it, any pressure would make it very hard to open.
The g-10 inlay on the 393 covers the lockbar, making it almost a frame/liner lock. Much better to open and close. It also slices a bit better.
Of the two, I recommend the 393.

Maybe take a look at the Hinderer XM18 and the Hinderer Eclipse and see which you like better?

The 562 is based on the xm18 and the 393 is on the Eclipse. I guess aside from whether or not you like the aesthetics of the overlay scale on the 393 is basically comes down to 2 major points for me. Do you prefer the straighter handle of the 393/eclipse or the more dropped butt handle of the 562/xm18. According to post #2 of this thread the 393 seems a little smaller as well. (Don’t take that for definite truth, i only own the 562 so I can’t compare the size on my own to verify)

Both are great knives that offer alot for the money.
 
The 0562 is my second favorite blade, behind the 0609. I love it. Great ergos, good grind, great action. I consider it the iconic ZT.

The 0393... I can’t get past her looks to tell if she has a great personality.

Yep, those are my two faves also.
 
I’ll also add that the 0393 looks better in person than in photos. The 0562 has a larger flipper tab and is a little heavier. I honestly think they both feel amazing in the hand and somewhat similar despite the obvious difference in handle designs.
 
0562 is an excellent (large) EDC. The awesome clip and relative slimness make it carry much smaller than you might think. I wish the blade had a little less up sweep, but I still prefer it to the 0393 blade.
 
I have carried a 0562 with Elmax steel as my work knife for a year now and I just got my 0393 from BladeHQ today.My impressions from just a few hours with the 0393...

1.The 0562 definitely has a wider blade and thicker handle and it is noticeably heavier.
2.In my large hands the dropped butt handle of the 0562 is slightly more comfortable than the 0393.Both fit my hands just fine but the 0562 wins by a hair.
3.Even though they are the same length the 0393 feels slightly smaller because the handle is slimmer and the blade not as wide.This is not a knock on the 0393 because it still feels like a large knife.
4.In the looks dept the 0393 wins to me.

I will continue to use the 0562 as my work knife.It is beefier and feels more like a work knife.In no way does the 0393 feel cheap or flimsy,it's just the 0562 is built like a tank.The 0393 I will rotate with my 0452 M390 as my carry knife outside work.You will be happy with either knife.
