ZT0780 Question

Hey guys, are there still any ZT 0780s out there for sale. I've been looking at this blade for a good two years and I never got around to picking one up, and now that they're discontinued, I don't know how to get one. Any dealers out there still have a few in stock? What's the price premium on one of these. I don't mind paying MSRP or more for it but I wouldn't mind getting one for a nice deal. Any suggestions? I don't see them pop up very often.

Sometimes I take too long deciding on a knife, as well.
 
Some ZT0780s were shipped out with well documented defects that include:

* excessive blade play (especially vertical)
* blade way off center
* scales and/or liner not lining up
* no screw threads for mounting clip differently

I had a lead on some about a year ago (thanks to RamZar), but spoke with the dealer about their stock. They inspected theirs and sent all of them back to Kai after our discussion. At that point, I decided I didn't _need_ one in my collection and just moved on to the next knife on my WTB list.
 
Mmm. That solves one problem. I guess I can knock one blade off of my list unless I find a great one for cheap.
 
There was 6 NIB a couple weeks ago on the auction site for reasonable I got one and its perfect no issues. Keep a watch out they come up every once in a while
 
I have 0780 as well. #42. No problems at all with mine. It is a pretty cool knife. Sorta like a Skyline on steroids.

They don't go on sale often, but if you keep an eye out on the exchange, they do occasionally show up.
