ZT0801 Chunk of lock-face missing??

Is it just me or is a relatively large chunk of the lock-face missing on the tang of my 0801

Mine has a sort of bevel there too. I think it was machined there to smooth the lock up between the tang and lock bar face.

I just looked, and mine looks somewhat like yours does.

Ok that makes me feel a little better. For a while there I thought I sheared off a corner of my lock-bar

Pretty sure that is there so the sharp edge of the blade tang doesn't mare the lockface when disengaging.
