Can someone with both the JYD2 and the ZT200 please u/l some side by side comparison pics to the established pic threads? I do not have the oportunity to handle a ZT200 but I have a JYD2 right in front of me. Side by side, lock shots etc., all are greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I'd still like to see your pics Tim :)

apart from length/thickness... 2 totally different knives. For me it's how they feel in the hand. If I had to chop through branches when it's raining.... I'd want the ZT. For a larger EDC that covers 98% of tasks... JYD. Don't get me wrong there are advantages to having a selection ;)

The only pics Tim takes is ones taken by his phone...it's true.
Dang...I MUST be getting old.:(. I remember back when phones were for talking to people with, and cameras (with "film" in 'em) were used for taking pictures. My, how times have changed.:D.

This thread makes me want a ZT0200 even more seeing how much room the handle design allows for the thumb to rest on the spine of the knife and the amount of cutting edge compared to the JYD2. Thanks for the pictures, they were quite useful to me.

The JYD has a totally more refined feel and flip action... you really need to try both. different knives for different needs

the only problem i've found with the zt0200 is that its very heavy & noticable in the pocket.also, the pocket clip is mounted to one side, making the knife "roll" or turn in the pocket. it doesnt always lay flat......

Thanks all. I like the little Storm 2's that I bought. I liked my Blur even more. But I REALLY like my JYD2! (can't stop flipping it:D) I can appreciate a smaller knife but tend toward the bigger stuff in FB's and folders. I just ordered a Ka-Bar Kukri and an Endura 4, so the ZT will have to wait, but she's still on my radar.

I'm simply not a fan of the large clips that Kershaw uses on a lot of their knives, and have been really, really pleased with the short and simple clip on my ZT0200. The only thing that could make it better would be if it was a foldover clip as I really dig those!!:D:thumbup:
