Can anyone comment on the serated combo blade compared to the plain blade. Is it useful or a pain. Are the serration's difficult to sharpen
Thanks

Serrations are always tedious and annoying to sharpen. I'd say they're more of a pain than anything, unless you cut a ton of rope or cord.

ZT's serrations are particularly annoying to sharpen, since you can't use a rod. I'd say stick with the plain edge.

I concur. Stick to the plain edge. With a combo edge you get the worst of both worlds--not enough serrations to do any good, not enough plain edge for slicing and dicing.

I will say this - the serrations on the 0200 only take up about ~1/4 of the blade, as opposed to some makers who dedicate half the cutting space to serrations.
On most knives I wont take serrated option, but I don't mind it at all on the 0200.

That is the only reason I'm even considering it
