hi guys
just got my first zt folder (301), and i was wondering about the lock, than i saw this question on another forum with no answer:

"I received my first ZT this week. Its everything I hoped for plus some.
after observing the knife thoroughly, I became curious about the construction.
The front side has thick green g10 with stainless steel liner, the other side (the side with the frame lock) has what looks like thin grey g10 with no liner.
Im wondering if this is titanium, but I didn't think that titanium was flexible enough for the liner lock. but it cant be only g10, I would think that it would crack with repeated use...someone out there must know the true construction of this knife..."

so if any of you knows to answer this, please do.

the ZT 3** series are all titanium frame locks - the locking side is a solid piece of titanium which compromises the lock and handle.

HAHA... gotta laugh at someone thinking TI is "thin gray g10"

very funny.

ZT 30* is all TI Frame Lock. remember that the smaller 350 is a Liner lock

You got your answer sab13. Keep posting man "the only stupid question is the one you don't ask." I knew my ZT 0301 was Ti but the black/gray color made me wonder how do they make it so dark? Then I concluded - magic! :D
