ZT308 EXTREMELY Stiff

New 0308 have to bear down on it to get it to flip open, I first took the bearings out to clean and put stuff together, I have two sets of factory bearings tried one of those still the same? Any and all advice will be appreciated

Your hand may be applying pressure to the lock bar while you are holding the knife and trying to open it.

Pinch the knife in a manner you can visibly observe your fingers not contacting the lock bar in any capacity and try to flip the knife open.

I have small hands.

I like big folders. SHF, XM-24 etc. I can avoid the lock bar quite easily.

Is the 308 the right size for you?

An easy test for this is to hold the knife in your left hand and open it. If it opens the way you think it should; the problem is you, not the knife

You can also try light-switch flipping rather than pushbutton. ZTs often have stiff detents, so they need a single decisive force to break rather than a slow push.

The pivot may also be too tight. You can also do a slight flicking motion as you open the knife.
