Mike: The bone where the joint is already has a slot in it. I would have to mill it out. I am planning to put a piece of damascus in it from the same billet as will as the guard and both will be hot blued with file work.

John if I don't pick on someone it usaully means, I don't know them that well or do not like them. OK you REDSKIN.

On the damascus I am not sure with what I going with.

I do know that it will have nickel in it so the contrast will show when hot blued.
