So my black zytel scales were loose so I tightened them and they stripped. Kinda disappointed. Has this happened to anyone else? Thinking about sucking it up and going with customs now.

Okay, so you stripped the screws? Not a huge problem otherwise we would see more of these kinds of threads or posts. They are replaceable though, so it isn't the end of the world. 6-32 if memory serves is the size on those. Not sure the length though.

Did the same with my black zytel scales for my 14. Over-torqued them and boke through the part of the handle that retains the screws. Screws are fine, but the handle is now a little loose. Might just find a a set of washers to help hold them in place.
