The GB Hand hatchet made trimming the tree a breeze. Love this thing.

Custom in 5160, canvas micarta scales with red g-10 liners. I forgot to take the pic of it finished before boxing it up as a Christmas gift for my nephew.

Not for sale, just sharing something cool. My father decided to surprise me with a gift this afternoon. Growing up my folks bought and sold antique furniture....apparently years back my late Grandfather had tagged along with them while they were at a large Antique mall in Maryland and spotted this hatchet. My folks knew the lady who was selling it....and she knocked a bunch off and Gramps bought this for 25 bucks. (sometime in the 80s I think)

Original handle with the Shepleigh name on it. Some of the original paint still on the duck on the head. Gramps loved collecting hatchets and axes and apparently had wanted a Shepleigh for quite some time. Dad said he was quite excited to get it. It's in outstanding shape. Looks like it was hardly ever used. Somewhere gramps had found a small Plumb sheath to use on it. Fit's nicely. Miss Gramps quite a bit...so it's awesome to get something like this that I will cherish forever.

Snow and Nealley broadaxe I grabbed off Ebay. And a restored JM Warren I bought from Chad Berens shop. Chad is an awesome dude that does fantastic work. I know I have said that before when I got my Raven from him...but the guy impresses me every time. Check his shop out at https://www.etsy.com/shop/BerensAxeHouse?ref=pr_faveshops

    Nice hatchet...and nice Kruger's handle.

    And it's a 1.75lb head.

    How do I know?

    I weighed mine before I hung it :) :
