"Five Knife Stud"

after seeing your hands guys i defer to show . astounding from the black pearls to the remington english jack. i did'nt know rems like that existed till i saw rick's super mint rem musk last year. rick even had the tissue paper wrap that came with the original knife. i certainly know when i'm beaten & do'nt mind admitting it.

What a cool thread idea, 'cept for that "Ace of Speys" comment I wish I had made :p

I know, but Elliott is well known for the wittiotic wisecwacks too. I think he is ahead in the competition. :p

If I had to take five with me to the pearly gates, well, for present day, it's these old timers, and one yeller.

With the beauties in this thread I don't know why I even bother. In any case here are my five.

Christian, those are well worthy of this thread; that's a great hand, but it's beginning to look like 5 knife stag now. - Ed

Steve, all great, but that shadow jack is knockin' me out!

Christian, wonderful stag. I especially like the Burke and the Blackjack (my next fixed blade purchase, for sure!).

Nice deck of knifes. My parents didnt allow me to play knifes of greater walue so I have to pass. I see you elliot ceeping your erikssons in the sleeve.

Thanks guys. Jeff, you're going to like the Blackjack 125, it's a honey. And I have to say that you have a good eye picking out the Queen/Dan Burke Rancher like that. It's a very stout jackknife. The walk and talk on this one is close to perfect; it's authoritative without being a nailbreaker.

Christian, the stag on that Ohta has impressed me before, exceptional!

My Five Hand(s) would be one of single blades, one of Jacks&more and one of locking knives. If only I understood or even liked using cameras...

With the purchase and receipt of the single blade saddlehorn this week, I now have a hand of single blade slipjoints (no lockbacks). My photography was not particularly creative, but here they are:

Very nice, Ed, especially the gold lip copperhead. To me anyway, pearl just seems right on a single blade.

What model is the case on top? Pretty sure I need one in my pocket tomorrow.

It's a 6107W in second cut antique bone. I was extremely fortunate to win that knife in Jason Baker's give away. Thanks Jason!!!

They (Case) have a new version in Stag and CV. I have that one on a "gotta have" list. That series is top notch with peanut, trapper, mini-tapper, and a couple others available. Quite the family.

Well,I promised to post a hand.
I'm sure you'all know, sometimes a high card will take 'em down, sometimes, you'll never have to show 'em,either.

Here's my hand

I've played in a casino, where cards read,if you paid up. Miss called a monster hand once (not intentionally) & p'od a guy with a kings full boat.My straight flush,I did not see,was to the fourth king in the deck.A very happy mistake that night,I just did not bet it right, but by then, everyone else was out of the game & all the chips were in my pot :).This was seven card stud, though.
